Skyline Real Estate Services, LLC was founded with the intent of becoming Minnesota's premier property management company specializing in re-positioning and renovating multifamily properties in the Twin Cities. Skyline Real Estate Services currently manages many properties in the metro area.  Firmly devoted to providing expert professional property management and maintenance. We emphasize service with a personal touch. Although we take exceptional care of our buildings, our true business is people. Our highly trained administrative teams guarantee, beautifully manicured grounds, exceptionally comfortable living environments, and prompt resolutions to any and all property management concerns. Chris Kohler

Owner

Chris has been owner and President of Skyline Real Estate
Services LLC since 2011. He attended North Michigan University and received his bachelor’s degree in science. In 2006, Chris got his first property manager position with Soderberg Apartment Specialists, and quickly became the financial manager for the company thereafter. Chris has also been Project Manager for several large apartment renovations and lease ups, including Concierge Apartments (700+ units), Gates of Rochester (400+ units) and Lux Apartments (100+ units). Concierge Apartments being one of his biggest renovation projects he managed, was winner of 11 MADACS Awards for a single property. Chris has also donated his time and expertise and partnered with the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation in doing a charity renovation of apartment homes for women and their children who participate in Avivo’s family treatment program. He project managed the renovations of 4 units in 4 days, these renovations helped provide a better quality of living for mother’s in recovery and for their children. He is very passionate about real estate and renovating. In Chris’ spare time he loves running, biking and spending time with his wife and two children.

Rosa Bell

Financial Manager

Rosa oversees HR and finances for Skyline’s entire portfolio. She has been with Skyline and in the multifamily housing industry since early 2013. She is well versed in leasing, property maintenance, real estate, financial reporting, and HR. She loves learning new things. Rosa has many different certifications and licenses including her CPO license, special class engineer boilers license, and MN real estate license. She is also a Certified Residential Maintenance Technician. Rosa is passionate about the marketing and customer service aspects of real estate. She loves helping and working with people from all different types of backgrounds. In her spare time, she loves playing volleyball, volunteering, going to MN Wild and Gopher games and spending time with her husband, family, friends and her 3 miniature dachshunds, Stanley, Thomas and Penny.

Amanda Miller

Operations Manager/Regional Property Manager

Amanda oversees operations for Skyline and is one of our regional property managers. She has been with Skyline since June of 2019. Amanda enforces company policies and procedures with Skyline managers and residents, works closely with vendors and contractors on a regular basis, and supervises her maintenance and cleaning staff. She is also one of our top leasing rock stars. Amanda’s main goal is to always provide exceptional customer service to our current and future residents. What she loves most about the real estate industry is how it is always evolving and how rewarding and fun it can be to help someone find their future home. She is a proud mother of 3 girls and loves spending time with her family and close friends. Amanda’s favorite things to do are spend time at her family’s cabin in Wisconsin, home decor shopping, and reading.  

Daniel Barreto

Renovation/Maintenance Supervisor

Daniel has been a part of the Skyline team since August 2022. He oversees Skyline’s renovation and maintenance crews which consist of 11 people. Daniel has been in the construction industry since the age of 15 working after school to help support his family in Ecuador. He likes the fast pace of the renovations and creating a beautiful product for owners and tenants to enjoy. He also thrives on the high level of customer service our maintenance team has by closing out work orders in a timely manner. In Daniel’s off time, he likes traveling to Ecuador to visit family, spending time with his wife and 3 girls, and enjoys his love of music by DJing.

Amanda Daugherty

Acquisitions Manager/Regional Property Manager

Amanda has been with Skyline since March of 2023. She loves a good challenge which is what put her in the role of acquisitions. She loves to renovate and transform properties to make them a beautiful, enjoyable, and safe place for our residents to live; as well as ensuring they stay that way once the process is completed. She loves that in real estate there is something new to learn each day and that no day is the same in her position within the company. Amanda is a mother to a little boy and her wonderful stepdaughter. She loves going up to her cabin in the summer and spending time with her family while riding side-by-side. 

Taylor Troseth

Regional Property Manager

Taylor began her career in the property management industry in 2019 and joined our Skyline team in October of 2023. Taylor is well versed in full-scale property renovations for Skyline as well as third party companies we work closely with. Her favorite thing about property management is getting to meet new people every day, whether it be residents (current or future), new vendors, or parties interested in working with Skyline. Taylor’s primary goals are to always be learning and having fun, and ensuring her residents needs are met in a timely manner. When she’s not at work Taylor loves to read, spend time with friends and family, and enjoys being outdoors.

 

Bella Johnson

Marketing Manager/Regional Property Manager

Bella began her career in property management in January of 2024. She was given the opportunity to shadow at Skyline and ultimately fell in love with the company and the team. Bella’s everyday goal is to make sure all her tenants are happy and ensure all their needs are met along with keeping the marketing department up to date and growing with our new properties. Her favorite part of her job is completing capital improvement projects to make the properties of higher quality, introducing new things to the marketing department and working on marketing projects for not only Skyline but also third-party management companies we work closely with. She also loves being able to meet new people every day. When she is not at work Bella loves to be outside at the cabin and go mudding, spending time with her friends and family.
